In England, the government's statutory guidance on the cost of school uniform limits how many branded items a school can require pupils to have, so we'd always say check your own school's uniform policy first. That's why this post is about the places we can help most: staff wear, PE and activity kit, trips and clubs, and optional extras such as leavers' hoodies.
Staff Wear That Looks The Part
A polo is the easy choice for staff. Ours is a 220gsm cotton-polyester piqué in black, bottle green and navy, in sizes XS to 6XL, from £8.87 with your logo on the front. For cold mornings, a sweatshirt is a classic: 280gsm, 22 colours, sizes XS to 5XL, from £16.11.
For staff who are outside a lot, a 210gsm micro fleece from our fleeces range is warm and light, and it's embroidered, because fleece can't take vinyl. A water-repellent, windproof soft shell jacket is the one for playground duty, sports days and trips in the rain. Front-of-house staff in the office might prefer a shirt or blouse.
Trips, Activity Days And Clubs
On a trip, the easiest way to keep a group together is to put them in the same colour. Our junior T-shirts are 150gsm, 100% cotton, in ten colours and sizes 3/4 to 14/15, from £6.39 with your school name printed in vinyl. They also work for after-school clubs, sports teams and charity days. For colder days, junior sweatshirts come in 23 colours, from £14.33. We'd suggest putting the school or group name on, rather than a child's name.

Is it a good idea to print children's names on trip T-shirts?
We would suggest the school or group name rather than a child's name, so a stranger can't read it. Your school's own trips policy comes first, and we are happy to work to it.
