When Work Wear Printing started, most people sent us a logo and a list of garments. These days there are three different ways to find what you need on the site, because a plumber, a café owner and a football club don't shop in the same way.
Here's how each route works, and how to pick the one that gets you to a finished order fastest.
1. Shop By Item: You Know What You Want
This is the classic way. Open the Shop by Item menu and you'll find a page for each type of garment: T-shirts, polo shirts, golf polos, sweatshirts, hoodies, soft shell jackets and gilets, fleeces and bodywarmers, hi-vis, shirts and blouses, chefswear, aprons and tunics, trousers, headwear, hi-vis bags, hard hats, overalls and our Safety Gear page. That's seventeen in all.
Each page shows the colours, the sizes and the price on the page, so you can pick, add to your basket and see your total before you send anything. If you'd like to see your logo on a garment first, the Logo Configurator previews it in 3D.
One thing to know: fleeces are embroidery only, so the page for those won't offer a vinyl option. And a hard hat can't be embroidered, so the logo goes on as a printed sticker instead.
2. Shop By Bundle: You Want One Set Price
Some customers don't want to build an order garment by garment. They want to know what the whole lot will cost. That's what the bundles are for. At the time of writing:
- The Winter Bundle is five polos, two hoodies, a beanie and a body warmer or soft shell jacket, embroidered with your logo, from £150 (£135 with a trade account). The Premium version adds a vinyl print on the back, from £172.22 (£155 trade).
- The Vinyl Print Winter Bundle covers three polos, a beanie and a gilet or soft shell jacket, all in vinyl, for £115 (£104 trade).
- The Gas Safe, NICEIC and F-Gas bundles are fully embroidered kits for registered engineers, including your registration on the sleeve, at £204 (£184 trade). The Gas Safe one started with a real order for Keating Plumbing Services.
Bundle prices are set, with no set-up fees, and you can still adjust the garments, sizes and quantities if the kit isn't quite right.
3. Shop By Industry: You Want Ideas For Your Trade
This is the newest route, and it came from watching how people actually arrive. Plenty of customers don't search for "soft shell jackets". They search for workwear for their kind of business. So the Shop by Industry menu now has a page for twenty-two types of customer, from builders and trades and garages to hospitality, care, farms, schools, clubs, Scouts and Guides and dance and drama groups.
Each page leads with the garments that trade tends to need, and most have ready-made kits you can send an enquiry about in one click. On the trade pages, where site rules are normal, the safety gear panel lets you add boots, hi-vis, gloves or a hard hat to a kit and see the price change as you go.
Which One Should You Pick?
A simple way to decide: if you can already name the garment, go by item. If you want a fixed price for a team, go by bundle. If you're not sure where to start, go by industry and see what businesses like yours usually order. You can switch between them at any point, because they all end up in the same place: a quote or basket with your logo on it.
Whichever way you shop, the basics stay the same. Digitising your logo for embroidery is free, there's no minimum order, and most orders turn around in 48 hours. If you order regularly, a free trade account takes 10% off.
Questions
Which way should I shop if I'm not sure?
If you know exactly what you want, start with Shop by Item. If you want a set price for a whole team, look at Shop by Bundle. If you'd like ideas for your trade, Shop by Industry shows what similar businesses order. All three lead to the same quote and the same logo options.
Do the bundles include my logo?
Yes. The Winter, Gas Safe, NICEIC and F-Gas bundles are embroidered, and the standard embroidery in the bundle price covers up to 10,000 stitches per logo. The Vinyl Print Winter Bundle uses heat transfer vinyl instead. We tell you before we start if your artwork needs more.
Can I change what is in a bundle?
Yes. Every bundle can be adjusted for garment type, sizes and quantities. Send us a message with what you need and we'll quote it.
Is there a minimum order?
No. There is no minimum order quantity, so you can order for one person or a whole team.
Do I need a trade account to order?
No. A free trade and business account takes 10% off, which is handy if you order regularly, but anyone can order or ask for a quote.
What if I can't find my industry or garment?
Send us a message or a WhatsApp. If there's a garment you'd like branded that we don't list, you can also supply your own, and we'll add your logo to it.
